Amanda Hayes is a Professional Genealogist with a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. She specializes in forensic cases, family lineage research and genealogical problem solving. Amanda previously promoted aviation and military heritage in support of the United States Air Force. Working with the military and aviation legends fueled her passion for honoring the lives and stories of the people behind our country’s rich heritage.
Amanda’s geographic focus includes the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic United States and parts of Europe. Her research specialties includes family migration, emigration/immigration, military records and forensic research. She utilizes a combination of records, social economics and historical events.
Amanda was a guest genealogist on PBS/Houston Public Media for the 2016 finale of Finding Your Roots. She is an accomplished speaker, event director and fundraiser. Amanda enjoys assisting her husband with his business, Hayes Construction, at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.
